Scholarship in Belgium International Training an Course 2009 - 2010

TRAINING PROPOSED BY CUD

Within the framework of the Belgian policy for development cooperation, the Ministry for Development Cooperation and the Directorate General for Development Cooperation entrust the Belgian universities with the preparation of Postgraduate and Training Programmes that are specifically oriented towards key-persons form developing countries.

 

Within the programme for International Courses and Training Programmes 2009 - 2010, CIUF grants 150 scholarships for participation into the courses and 70 scholarship for participation into the training programmes.

International Courses and Training Programmes are integrated in the global study programmes of the Universities. They are open to all students who satisfy the conditions of qualification, but aim at proposing students originating in developing countries training units that distinguist themselves by their openness towards specific development issues.

   

UNIVERSITY COMMISSION TOWARDS DEVELOPMENT

 

The Interuniversity Council of the French speaking Universities of Belgium (CIUF) gathers the 9 French-speaking Universities of Belgium. It has established a University Commission towards Development (CUD) that coordinates teaching and research projects of its member universities in the area of University Cooperation towards Development. CUD initiates numerous activities integrated into programmes whose purposes and instruments are manifold.

What are the conditions of admission to Complementary Master programme?

 

Complementary Master programmes are open to holders of a foreign university degree (graduate), accepted by the jury as equivalent to 300 credits. 300 credits correspond in principle to 5 years of study.
