Hizkia Christian Putra Setiadi (Graduate of the Faculty of Law): Become a COMPLETE UNDIP Student and Give Positive Impact to the Environment

“Education is a very profitable investment for us. All the knowledge that we get in college is an important provision that will be used as long as we live. We must participate in organizational activities in harmony with the education we receive because it is to develop our soft skills and hard skills,” said Hizkia Christian Putra Setiadi, a graduate of the Mechanical Engineering Department, Faculty of Engineering. He graduated after studying for 3 years and 7 months with a GPA of 3.60 and earned a cum laude predicate in the 170th Graduation Ceremony of Diponegoro University.

“We must become individuals who are able to influence and give a positive impact to our family, community and environment. Become a COMPLETE Undip student, namely Communicator (able to communicate orally and in writing); Professional (work according to principles, development based on achievement, uphold the code of ethics); Leader (adaptive, responsive to the environment, proactive, motivator, cooperation); Thinker (critical thinking, lifelong learning, researcher); Entrepreneur (high work ethic, entrepreneurial skills, innovative, independent); Educator (capable of being an agent of change),” he continued.

Besides studying, he also joined organizations and became a laboratory assistant. He was the Head of Jentayu organization for the 2021-2022 period which is under the auspices of the Undip Robotic Development Center (URDC), headed three divisions namely Racing Plane, Fix Wing, and Vertical Take Off Landing (VTOL). Jentayu is a representative of Diponegoro University to take part in the Indonesian Flying Robot Contest (KRTI) organized by National Achievement Center (Puspresnas). The competition he participated in is the Indonesian Flying Robot Contest in the field of Vertical Take Off Landing (VTOL) organized by Puspresnas. In the competition his team successfully entered the regional selection stage.

“Other than Jentayu, I am also active in the Mechanical Student Association as Staff for Field 6 of Economics and Business. I was a Computer Numerical Control (CNC) laboratory assistant in 2022-2023. During my time as a laboratory assistant, I was given the opportunity to teach class 2020 and 2021 students how to operate CNC machines in the Mechanical Engineering CNC laboratory. I am also a researcher at Undip Biomechanical Engineering and Research Center (UBM-ERC). At UBM-ERC I conducted research on the spine of elderly individuals in Indonesia by making a Finite Element Model of the spine and carrying out a Finite Element Analysis,” said Hizkia.

“Studying at Undip is an experience that I am very grateful for. The existing lecturers and education staff are people who are very competent in their fields. I have a lot of friends who support each other. Solidarity and kinship are the most important things in Mechanical Engineering, so I never feel lonely and in trouble because there are always friends who can help and provide insight. Undip’s green environment also provides coolness amid the sunny Tembalang weather during the day,” he concluded. (LW – Public Relations)
