Rector: Graduates Have To Be Adaptive To Changes
Diponegoro University’s graduates have to be adaptive to changes, as only adaptable nation will survive to face all changes. Rector Prof. Yos Johan Utama addressed it to 1,962 graduates in Graduation ceremony at Prof. Soedarto Hall, Diponegoro University campus, Tembalang, on Tuesday (January 23, 2018).
Rector said, Diponegoro University’s alumni must inevitably make innovations to improve their capabilities. “It is not Diponegoro University’s ways if you give up in this race. You all of the graduates today have to keep your spirits up, to face the future bravely, as you have graduated from university with A accreditation, the 6th ranked of 4,300 universities at national level, and the 3rd most favourite university, also got the ranking of the top university in the world,” said Rector Yos Johan.
He added graduates had have various skills and knowledges. “They are only not enough. To face quick changes, you need good integrity. Diponegoro University’s alumni have to be the commander of goodness and truth, as well as be leader of innovations,” said Rector.
Vice Rector of Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. M. Zainuri said number of graduates at Diponegoro University’s 149th Graduation on 2018 are 1,962 persons. They are 20 PhDs, 227 postgraduates, 65 specialists, 102 professions, 1,406 graduates, and 142 diplomas. On this year, female graduates are more than male ones; they are 1,080 female to 882 male. All of them has added total number of graduates to 197,753 persons since the university founded,” said Prof. M Zainuri.(Ipung/Humas)
