RSND Inaugurates 128 Slice CT Scan Services in Their 3rd Anniversary

In order to improve the quality of health services, Diponegoro National Hospital Semarang conducted a soft launch of a 128 slice CT Scan tool, in the radiology room of the RSND, Semarang, Monday (02/11/2019). Central Java Provincial Government for Undip Hospital. Special guests of the event including Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo, Semarang Secretary Sri Puryono, Director of the RSND Prof. Dr. Susilo Wibowo, Undip Vice Rector in Academic and Student Affairs Prof. Zaenuri, and Undip Academic Community.

Undip Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhamad Zainuri, DEA said that this hospital had the best accreditation with profits reaching 22 billion over the past 3 years.

“Thank you to the governor, for giving a ct scan tool that is used to support the process of education and health services, especially health services regarding, including being a referral hospital in the city of Semarang,” said Prof. Zaenuri.

Director of RSND, Prof. Dr. Soesilo Wibowo, expressed his gratitude for the participation and attention to RSND, especially in the fields of education and health.

Prof. Susilo said that the 128 slice CT Scan is different from other CT Scan tools. Because the CT Scan is the latest generation tool.

“This tool is able to provide a better diagnostic picture, especially the examination of mobile organs, such as the heart,” said Prof. Susilo.

Furthermore, Prof. Susilo added that other activities in the framework of the RSND anniversary were seminars towards healthy and happy elderly people attended by 400 participants and a national chirping bird contest which was attended by 4000 participants.

He hopes that the latest CT Scan tool will complement the equipment available at Semarang Hospital. Currently, there are dozens of clinical services in the hospital. Among them are public clinics, children’s health, internal medicine, surgery, eyes, ENT, nerves, skin and genitals, heart and others.

While Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo, who arrived at the soft launch, hopes that the tool will be used as well as possible.

He considered that with this tool, the community could get a much better and complete medical treatment from a hospital whose management is under Diponegoro University (Undip).

“We would like to encourage Undip as well asRSND to target even greater responsibility in health services, building awareness is certainly not easy but the point is later in handling medical cases we try the movement to campaign this case of course with good hospitals, competent HR and equipment that as well as services to the community that are oriented towards ensuring health services in Central Java, ” said Ganjar.
