The students in KKN Team II Diponegoro University 2019 in Kemiriombo village, Gemawang sub-district, Temanggung district followed with the lecturers’ supervisor of KKN, namely Dr. Ir. Martini, M. Kes., Rabith Jihan Amaruli, S. S, M. Hum., and Pangi, S. T., M.T, held a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) about the concept development of batik tourist attraction in Kemiriombo (14/08).
The organization and the community in Kemiriombo village that related to this tourist attraction potential attended this FGD. There was also Temanggung tourism agency, headman of the Kemiriombo village and the headman of the Gemawang district that gave the speech about the representative of a tourist village.
The headman of Kemiriombo village, Runtung Sudarno, said that the Kemiriombo village is rich in tour potential, started from the Bandung Waterfall/Curug Bandung, Begawan batik art and traditional dance studio, until the coffee culinary. This potency will be one of the greatest tourist attractions in Kemiriombo village. “I hope that by this FGD the villagers in Kemiriombo will stick up to their commitment in realizing the tourist attraction and give their whole support to develop their village into the better one,” he said.
This activity was also given motivation and spirit to the villagers to work together in creating the batik tourist attraction in Kemiriombo village. Through this discussion, it is hoped that the planning of batik tourist attraction can continue by this kind of activities to realize batik tourist attraction.
The village coordinator of KKN in Kemiriombo, Andhyka Taufiqurrahman, said that the students in KKN Team II Diponegoro University 2019 made the master plan making as a guide and reference in developing the village on this FGD.
