Head of IKA Undip, Maryono, stated that this building is unique. “The Vocational School Building was built following the times, and it is hoped that graduates will become a national quality absorption for workforce. This building is expected to have a high quality and become an icon for Diponegoro University. The relationship of the alumni and the University cannot be broken, this is also the pride of our alumni. We will also invite other alumni to encourage graduates from vocational school to have competencies and alumni who have potential. “

Diponegoro University Rector, Prof. Yos Johan, stated that the Vocational School building was a built from the donation of PT. Sinar Mas and PT. Astra International Tbk.

“This building is built from donation due to for this past year the availability of Vocational buildings has been very lacking because it used to join other faculties which means that it did not have permanent buildings. There were already 30% of on-going projects that is expected to be completed by May 2020 and can be used for new students by 2020. We will try our best to arrange funds for development and maintenance. With the construction of this building, hopefully students will also be proud to have a building like this. “

“The Vocational School relies on different pattern of application compared to bachelor graduates. The concept of lectures and practices are already different. It is hoped that one day this vocational school will become the first choice, “he added.

Yos Johan hopes that vocational students can maintain and taking care of this new building.
