Undip Inaugurates Two Professors

Diponegoro University have inaugurated two professors from the Faculty of Engineering, namely Prof. Dr. Ir. Erni Setyowati, M.T. and from the Faculty of Law, namely Prof. Dr. Pujiyono, S.H. M.Hum, on Tuesday (12/17) at the Prof. Soedharto Building, Tembalang. The Head of the Academic Senate of Diponegoro University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Sunarso, M.S. confessed that Prof. Dr. Ir. Erni Setyowati, M.T. is the 32nd professor from the Faculty of Engineering and Prof. Dr. Pujiyono, S.H, M.Hum is the 16th professor from the Faculty of Law.

“With the inauguration of two professors today, Undip professors have increased to as many as 138 permanent active professors,” he said.

Prof. Dr. Ir. Erni Setyowati, M.T. during the inauguration ceremony, gave an inaugural speech entitled “The Role of Acoustics in Sustainable Green Buildings” in accordance with the field of architectural engineering that she has been practiced for more than 20 years.

“This research proves that composite shells with a waffle pattern combination of double layer structures are able to absorb sound to a coefficient of 0.9, while the STL performance of this material has the ability to eliminate sounds up to 54 dB. The water hyacinth natural fiber composite has a wide broadband absorption coefficient above 0.5 to 1.0, with STL values up to 56-58 dB. While porous ceramic has a very significant performance and needs to be developed as a Helmholtz resonator, “she explained the results of her conducted research.

Meanwhile, for Prof. Dr. Pujiyono, S.H. M.Hum., he delivered his inaugural speech with the title “Renewal of Corporate Criminal Liability through the Restorative Justice Approach in the Selective Dual Track System Model”, which was chosen as a material for the renewal of the corporate criminal liability model to protect the public and the sustainability of corporate life.
