Diponegoro University’s Public Relations and Media have conducted an Integrated Public Service Program socialization namelyHalo Undip, Friday (12/27) at the Quality Hall, WidyaPuraya, Undip campus, Tembalang. Halo Undip is an integrated social media-based public service for requests, information, complaints, aspirations, public services, promotions and publications that are managed in an integrated manner by the Integrated Service Unit (ULT) of Diponegoro University.
The socialization was attended by Undip Vice Rector of Communication and Business Dr. Dr.arsono, SE., MBA, Akt. Wahyu NursekaWijayanti as General Manager of IBIS Semarang is also invited as a speaker and EndangWinarsih as an Advertising and Branding Practitioner which becomes the moderator. As one of the Public Agencies, Diponegoro University has the obligation to carry out the mandate of the Law on Public Information Openness Number 14 of 2008 as well as carrying out the mandate of Law Number 25 of 2009 concerning Public Services. Undip designed an integrated program for managing public information, public services and complaints under the name of the program “Halo Undip” – One for All Public Services that has the Faster tagline of Fast Service Top Respond and is an integral part of Public Relations (PR) activities and Integrated Service Unit of Diponegoro University.
In his remarks the UndipVice Rector of Communications and Business said that with the existence of Halo Undip, it could facilitate the flow of information. “This one door of service from Halo Undip is a service and information center, but the physical and substance remains in each unit so that it is easy to coordinate”.
Wiwied, also known as Wahyu NursekaWijayanti, said that HALO UNDIP must develop good communication, internal communication and external communication.
It is expected that with the presence of HALO UNDIP services, it can increase community participation for the supervision of Undip’s performance program in running the Tridharma of Higher Education and as a Public Agency. In addition, it is also expected to increase the community interaction with Undip in the context of overseeing the implementation of the Tridharma of Higher Education.
