Semarang-Today, Thursday (2/4) Undip Disaster Response Team or better known as the Diponegoro-Disaster Assistance Response Team (D-DART), which is directed by Dr. Achmad Zulfa Juniarto, M.Sc.Med., MMR., Sp.And.(K)., Ph.D., have once again carried out a social service by distributing equipment for the availability of facilities in the effort to overcome the Covid-19 plague.
The assistance provided are in the form of a headbox, hazmat coverall and face shield to Wongsonegoro Ketileng Regional Hospital, Tlogorejo Regional Hospital, Roemani Hospital and Dr. Kariyadi Hospital as well as distributing face shields, hand sanitizers and masks to several Puskesmas, including Rowosari Puskesmas, Padangsari Puskesmas, Srondol Puskesmas, Pudakpayung Puskesmas, Tembalang Puskesmas, Ngesrep Puskesmas, Leyangan Puskesmas.
Previously, the D-DART UNDIP team had also provided an assistance in the form of PPE (nano-filter mask and face shield), hand sanitizers, vitamins, and nutritional products to RSUP Dr. Kariyadi healthcare team Semarang and was received by drg. Sri Yuniarti Rahayu, Sp.KG., MARS. as Director of Planning and Organization of the Hospital. This activity aims to contribute in supporting health worker teams, specifically in the main referral hospital for Covid-19 case in Central Java which currently fighting at the forefront in treating patients with this disease.
UNDIP Rector Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum. on March 16, 2020, has established the Diponegoro Disaster Asistance Response Team (D-DART) at Disaster Management Center under the Institute for Research and Community Service assigned as a mitigation and prevention task force for the spread of Covid-19 outbreak.
