UNDIP YOUNGEST DOCTOR! Nidya Rena Benita Sihombing achieves its Doctorate degree on Medical and Health Science, Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University at the age of 29 years 6 months with the promoter Prof. dr. Sultana MH Faradz, PhD, the co-promoters from partners Prof. Hans van Bokhoven, PhD from Radboud University Medical Center, Nijmegen, Netherlands and the co-promoter from Undip Prof. Dr. dr. Tri Indah Winarni, MSi.Med, PA.
During the Closed Examination held on February 20, 2020, Nydia delivered a dissertation entitled “Explanation regarding the Genetic Basis of Intellectual Disabilities and Various Default Anomalies in Indonesia” (Analysis of Genetic Factors in Intellectual Disabilities and Congenital Multiple Anomalies in Indonesia). Nidya RB Sihombing achieved a Doctorate degree through the PMDSU scholarship program (Masters Education Towards Doctoral Degree for Excellence Bachelor) batch 2 and at the same time became the First Youngest Doctor of the Faculty of Medicine at Diponegoro University.
