Monday (4/5) In an effort to provide welfare to students affected by covid-19 pandemic outbreak, Diponegoro University Semarang in collaboration with PT. Bank BTN provides necessities to students who are still living around Undip campus area. The event was held at the Widya Puraya Building Undip.

The event was attended by Undip Rector, Vice Rector I, Head of BTN Semarang Branch Office, Director of Student Affairs, Student Administration Bureau, and numbers of students receiving the assistance.

Undip Rector Prof. Yos Johan Utama welcomed the assistance as an effort to help students who are unable to return to their hometowns and is forced to stay in Semarang. “Undip wants to ensure that its students are in good condition and their nutritional needs are met,” said the Rector.

Prof. Yos also added that this is the 6th time Undip provided an assistance to students and later there will be more assistance to meet the needs of students,” concluded Prof. Yos.

Head of Bank BTN Semarang Branch, Erianto Hasibuan, said that the provided necessities were the first batch of assistance from BTN in the amount of 400 packages.” Hopefully, this assistance will be useful for students and covid-19 will soon pass,” said Erianto.
