The holding of the Public Relations Indonesia Awards (PRIA) in 2020 held by PR Indonesia feels different as it takes place online given the Covid-19 pandemic. The PR Indonesia Awards are the most competitive public relations competition in Indonesia. In its fifth time, 543 entries entered the committee table. This number increased compared to last year which was only 476 entries. The judging session took place on February 23-25, 2020 in Jakarta and involved at least 13 judges from senior public relations practitioners, prominent journalists, senior academics, to Gurus’ PR.

The awarding night that was originally scheduled in Semarang, April 2, 2020 was not possible given the Covid-19 pandemic situation. The award ceremony was held online on Monday, April 20, 2020 at 16:00 WIB via the YouTube channel. Diponegoro University is said to have won the Bronze Winner in the Higher Education category.

“We certainly feel proud to receive this award. At least our hard work received recognition from highly competent judges. We certainly proud and we hope that we can increase our enthusiasm at work even better in the future, “said Utami Setyowati, M.I.Kom Diponegoro University Public Relations.

In this PRIA competition #5 2020, Diponegoro University Public Relations included one of its products, the print magazine of the first edition of Gema Undip 2019 with the main cover of Ristekdikti’s National Working Meeting (Rakernas) held in early 2019.
