“A collaboration of Super Specialist Master Program is a collaboration that adapts to the needs in the field. From the results of the collaboration, two study programs have been formed that are adjusted to the needs of the Ministry of PUPR and the world of construction in the field of water resources, namely the Dam Hydrometerogy Instrumentation Operations Study Program and the Dam Safety Retrofitting and Instrumentation Study Program.” This was conveyed by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Diponegoro University, Prof. Ir. M. Agung Wibowo, MM, MSc, PhD in the signing of the 2020 Super Specialist Master Program Education Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of PUPR and Diponegoro University, at the Dean Office of the Faculty of Engineering, Undip (16/9).

The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering hopes that this program will produce competent students and help Undip to produce competent seeds in their respective fields.

On the occasion, Ir. H. Ruhban Ruzziyatno, MT, as Chairperson of the Center for Competency Development of Water Resources and Settlements, said that in order to repair and improve the quality of national infrastructure development, the Ministry of PUPR through BPSDM opened a Super Specialist Master program for State Civil Servants within the Ministry of PUPR to produce super specialists based on current infrastructure development issues.

“Through the super specialist master’s in-service education cooperation between the Center for Competency Development of Water Resources and Settlements with Undip, it is hoped that the Ministry of PUPR’s human resources will be superior and experts in their fields and can overcome problems in the field, especially related to dams,” he said.
