UNDIP Vocational School MoU with ALFI and Industrial Partners

MoU Vokasi dengan ALFI dan Mitra Industri

On October 23, 2020, an MoU was signed on cooperation between industrial partners and the Vocational School of Diponegoro University. This activity was held in the Seminar Room of the Department of Business and Finance, Vocational School, Diponegoro University. The signing of the MoU was carried out between the Vocational School of Diponegoro University and several partner companies, namely: PT. Arindo Jaya Mandiri, PT. Ritra Cargo Indonesia, PT. Jasco Logistics, and PT. Teduh Makmur. This collaboration was carried out in collaboration with the Indonesian Logistics & Forwarder Association (Asosiasi Logistics & Forwarder Indonesia) Regional Management Council (Dewan Pengurus Wilayah) Central Java and Yogyakarta.

The signing of the MoU was carried out by Prof. Dr. Ir. Budiyono, M.Si. as Dean of Vocational School of Diponegoro University, with partner representatives, namely: Ari Wibowo, S.H., M.H. (Chairman of ALFI DPW Central Java & Yogyakarta, who is also the Director of PT. Arindo Jaya Mandiri), Harsanti Widyaningtyas (PT. Ritra Cargo Indonesia), H. Rustamaji, S.E., M.Si. (Director of PT. Jasco Logistics), and Umar Akhwan (Director of PT. Teduh Makmur). This collaboration was initiated by Management & Logistics Administration Undergraduate Study Program, Vocational School, Diponegoro University. The event was attended by the deans of the Diponegoro University Vocational School, as well as lecturers and students in the Department of Business and Finance.

Chairman of ALFI DPW Central Java & Yogyakarta, Ari Wibowo, S.H., M.H. said that the logistics industry is a very prospective industry in the future, because almost all sectors use logistics services. Therefore, this cooperation is important in preparing superior human resources in the logistics sector. Furthermore, the Dean of the Diponegoro University Vocational School, Prof. Dr. Ir. Budiyono, M.Si. hopes that this cooperation can strengthen industrial apprenticeship activities. This collaboration includes adjusting the study program curriculum to industrial needs, so as to create a link and match between the world of education and industry.
