SEMARANG – Vocational School of Diponegoro University (UNDIP) cooperates with the official higher education of the National Higher Education of Land (Sekolah Tinggi Pertanahan Nasional / STPN) Yogyakarta to strengthen the development of human resources, both in terms of education, research and community service. This was stated in the signing of the MoU between Vocational School Undip and STPN Yogyakarta on Thursday (3/6/2021).
The signing of Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Undip Vocational School and STPN Yogyakarta regarding the Implementation of Education, Research and Community Service and Improving the Quality of Human Resources, is carried out in Vocational School Undip Tembalang Building. Undip Vocational School is represented by its Dean, Prof. Dr. Ir. Budiyono, Msi; while STPN Yogyakarta is represented by Dr. Ir. Senthot Sudirman, M, S as Head of STPN.
This collaboration program is an effort of Undip Vocational School to improve the quality of human resources, especially in the fields of spatial planning and land. Dean of Undip Vocational School, Prof. Budiyono, in his speech said that through this collaboration, it is hoped that information and facilities can be shared, so that students will graduate on time and have the competencies as expected.
“Through this collaboration, besides to produce excellent graduates, we also make a development in the fields of research and service. Each party can complement each other, collaborate between research teams and can even be done between students,” he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of STPN Yogyakarta, Dr. Ir. Senthot Sudirman M.S; admitted that he was very happy and appreciated the collaboration with Undip Vocational School. Senthot believes that through this collaboration, it is possible to transfer knowledge to each other between STPN and Undip Vocational School. “Hopefully this collaboration can bring benefits to both parties,” he said.
