Acceptance of Laboratory Equipment Grants from BTN to Diponegoro University

Semarang – On Friday (11/06) at 11:30 AM, Diponegoro University (Undip) officially received assistance of educational facilities and infrastructure from PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk. The symbolic acceptance of assistance from BTN took place in the Rector’s Meeting Room on the 2nd floor, Widya Puraya Building, Undip Tembalang Campus. The assistance, which includes laboratory equipment and other equipment, is a CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) assistance from BTN.

By implementing health protocol, this event is attended by Chair of Academic Senate, Undip Rector, Vice Rectors, Head of Agricultural Training Center, University Secretary, and Head of Integrated Laboratory Unit. Also present at the event are President Director of BTN and BTN officials.

This CSR acceptance event is a form of collaboration between BTN and Diponegoro University in order to increase the knowledge and skills of educators and students in learning activities. Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum., expressed his gratitude for this assistance. “As the Rector of Diponegoro University, I would like to thank BTN for the CSR provided in a very precise form as laboratory equipment,” he said. Furthermore, the Rector explained that this assistance was considered appropriate because it was in line with Undip’s vision of becoming an excellent research university. “Undip’s vision is to become an excellent research university. Therefore, we are carrying out renewal or updating of laboratory equipment,” continued Prof. Yos Johan.

The Head of Integrated Laboratory Unit, Prof. Dr. Istadi, S.T., M.T., also expressed his gratitude to BTN and briefly presented some of the laboratory equipment received. “We express our greatest gratitude to the President Director of BTN for providing assistance with 6 equipment. Thank you for the assistance, hopefully it will be a blessing for all of us,” said Prof. Istadi.

Meanwhile, President Director of BTN, Haru Koesmahargyo, said that this CSR assistance is expected to support the teaching and learning process at Diponegoro University. “Hopefully it can support the educational process at Undip and I think this collaboration will continue in the future,” said the President Director of BTN.
