Mrs. Ferniah said that research does not always have to be conducted in the laboratory. Moreover, during a pandemic like today, more research is being carried out in the field. The hope is that SMA Negeri 4 Semarang and Biotechnology Study Program can develop education in Indonesia by producing excellent graduates, especially in the field of research.

Meanwhile, a representative from SMA Negeri 4 Semarang, Mrs. Ririn Masrikah, advised the students who took part in this training activity to be able to take advantage of the learning opportunities provided as well as possible and to be able to apply the knowledge gained from this activity. Mrs. Ririn Masrikah hopes that students can be involved in research or projects carried out by Biotechnology Study Program so that a love for Biotechnology in particular and Biology in general will grow. She closed her speech with a prayer so that the activity will be successfully held and provide intelligence for the Indonesian nation.

The first speaker, Dr. Sri Pujiyanto, S.Si.
