Sharing is Caring; Chemical Engineering Alumni Association and Student Executive Board of Diponegoro University Made Donations for Undip Self-Isolation Service Unit in Welcoming the 76th Indonesian Independence Day

As one of the efforts to welcome the 76th Independence Day of the Republic of Indonesia, Chemical Engineering Alumni Association (Ikatan Alumni Teknik Kimia / IKATEKA) and Student Executive Board of Diponegoro University (UNDIP) made donations for Undip Self-Isolation Service Unit. Through Diponegoro Disaster Assistance Response Team (D-DART) which also serves as Undip Covid-19 Task Force, this activity is held in Building E, Undip Student Flats, Tembalang Campus on Tuesday, August 16th 2021.

In this event, IKATEKA represented by Mrs. Ir. Inna Sekar Vickneswari and Mrs. Siti Mulyani, ST. The event is also attended by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Suherman, S.T., M.T., as Head of Department of Chemical Engineering Diponegoro University. The representatives of University Student Executive Board also come from various Faculty Student Executive Board in Undip.

Donations given by IKATEKA in the form of various self-isolation equipment including logistics. 5 sets of large (full capacity) oxygen cylinders and 2 small (full capacity) oxygen cylinders and nasal cannula for use have been given.

“Hopefully our donation can be useful for patients who use facility at Undip Self-Isolation Service Unit. In addition, there is also logistic assistance from Undip Alumni who work at Department of Industry and Commerce,” said Mrs. Inna. This donation was accepted by General Chairperson of D-DART, dr. Ahmad Zulfa Juniarto, M.Si.Med, MMR, Sp.And.(K), Ph.D. In addition, University Student Executive Board provided donations in the form of cash obtained from charity events, namely open donations.

This activity is certainly very useful not only for the patients who do self-isolation but also in case if an emergency occurs, for example the condition of the patient worsens and a referral is required to Diponegoro National Hospital owned by Undip. “Thank you very much for Undip Chemical Engineering Alumni Association and also the students represented by University Student Executive Board. Hopefully goodness will return to all of us and may we always be healthy during this pandemic period.” Glory Republic of Indonesia! For you, our country, our soul. (AS)
