Semarang, 24/09 (Public Relations of HIMAFORMAS) – Public Relations Division of Information and Public Relations Student Association (Himpunan Mahasiswa Informasi dan Hubungan Masyarakat / HIMAFORMAS) held a Public Relations Dialogues (Pubers) Talk Show with Prilly Latuconsina as a speaker. Talk show with the theme “Public Speaking 101: Get to Know More How to be a Better Speaker” is held on Friday, September 24th 2021 virtually via Zoom. The implementation of Pubers Talk Show aims to provide knowledge about Public Speaking with Prilly Latuconsina as the resource person who already has a lot of experience in public speaking in the fields of entertainment and education.
This event was officially opened by the Dean of Undip Vocational School, Prof. Dr. Ir.Budiyono, M.Sc., to initiate and support the Pubers Talk Show organized by Public Relations of HIMAFORMAS.
When Prilly entered the Zoom meeting room, the participants were very enthusiastic, it is shown on the Zoom chat column which was filled with greetings and praising Prilly’s beauty. During the talk show session, Prilly shared her experience when hosting one of the big events and other experiences regarding public speaking. One of the points given by Prilly was “As a public speaker, you must understand the situation and be flexible and agile to adapt to any condition”. One of the sentences that left an impression on Prilly Latuconsina was “Set your vision so you know your mission”.
During the question and answer session, the Pubers participants were busy asking Prilly about public speaking. Lecturer and Secretary of Study Program at Undip Vocational School, Agus Naryoso, also had the opportunity to ask question directly to Prilly.
Even though it was conducted online, the enthusiasm of the participants and the support from the lecturers indicated that this event was running successfully and smoothly. This event provides new knowledge and insight about public speaking. This Pubers activity is expected to become a routine activity in the field of Public Relations of HIMAFORMAS. This activity is intended to be a place to share knowledge and insight about public speaking by inviting extraordinary speakers in the future.
