The Diponegoro International Office organized a Webinar Series: “Hello, Ambassadors” with the theme “Education and International Cooperation in a Pandemic Period” on November 1st 2021 through the Zoom Cloud Meeting platform, with a total of 77 participants. This activity invited 2 speakers as resource persons, namely Mr. Arif Havas Oegroseno, S.H., M.Hum. (Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Federal Republic of Germany) and Prof. Muliaman Dharmansyah Hadad, Ph.D (Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to Switzerland and Liechtenstein). The event was moderated by Anggun Puspitarini Siswanto, Ph.D (Head of Diponegoro International Office).
The event was opened by remarks from the Rector of Diponegoro University, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum. He emphasized the importance of internationalization in achieving Undip’s vision as a World Class University. The next event was the presentation of material from Mr. Arif Havas Oegroseno, S.H., M.Hum. as the first speaker. He explained on the dynamics and strategies of cooperation between Indonesia and Germany during the pandemic in various fields and their challenges. The event was followed by an explanation from the second speaker, Prof. Muliaman Dharmansyah Hadad, Ph.D regarding the dynamics and strategies of education and cooperation between Indonesia and Switzerland and Liechtenstein. Prof. Muliaman also emphasized the big role of the International Office in strengthening this collaboration. Before closing the event, a question and answer session was held between the webinar participants and resource persons. The event was closed by reading the conclusion and also thanking the speakers and participants of the event. The possibilities of future cooperation, both domestic and global cooperation were also mentioned. (Daniz-IO)
