In the context of developing a Healthy Campus in 2021, Diponegoro University collaborated with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia to hold a Healthy Campus Orientation activity as a sharing event for the community of higher education in implementing the Healthy Campus program. Healthy Campus which was held on last week is a program from the Ministry of Health to mobilize the education sector to play an active role in realizing a healthy Indonesia by being directly involved in proactive and preventive efforts in the internal environment of universities.

Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M. Hum. directly opened this event. He conveyed that Undip was the second best national higher education according to the ranking of GreenMetric as Undip had implemented the Sustainable Campus program with environmentally friendly and sustainable activities. Before the pandemic, Undip also routinely carried out joint exercises every Friday, while during the pandemic it was implemented online because we have to implement strict health protocols. On behalf of Undip academic community, The Rector expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Health for the collaboration in carrying out the Healthy Campus orientation.

While Plt. Director of Prevention and Control of Non-Communicable Diseases (P2PTM) of the Ministry of Health, dr. Elvieda Sariwati, M. Epid. stated that the Healthy Campus program is a systematic and comprehensive effort in realizing higher education as an institution that integrates health into higher education culture. This program is a movement for healthy living in higher education through a holistic health approach to create a learning environment and organizational culture that promotes health, community well-being, and empowers individuals to reach their potential.
