Chairman of the Undip PSDKU Management Institute, Dr. Redyanto Noor, M.Hum as keynote speaker gave a scientific oration according to his expertise with the title “Modern Humans, Information Technology, and Language Effectiveness” which was very relevant to the topic of this national webinar. In his scientific oration, Redyanto said that Indonesian students should use Indonesian language well through information technology in welcoming their careers.

Ropinov Saputro, S.E., M.M. as an Undip PSDKU lecturer as well as a Human Resource Management practitioner, discussed the topic of “Passing the Recruitment of HR at Bona Fide Company”. Ropinov explained that a person’s career success begins when he is a student long before graduation. Therefore students should increase their positive activities in improving their hard skills (main qualifications) and soft skills (supporting qualifications) during their time as students, before finally summarizing them in a Curriculum Vitae (CV). “Writing a great CV can be done in 2 hours, but building it takes years. An excellent CV is a strength in the competition to find work,” said the coach of the student association who is also the 3rd place winner for the Outstanding Lecturer at the Undip Vocational School 2021. Many participants asked questions in this session but unfortunately time was limited, so speakers of the first session had to answer the rest of the questions in the chat column.

During the second and third sessions of presentation delivered by BCA related to digital entrepreneurship, participants who joined until the end of the event and received certificates were around 450 participants. This shows the enthusiasm of the participants and is an indicator of the match between the needs of the participants and the topics presented. From the results of the questionnaires filled out by the participants, this national webinar received high satisfaction from the participants. The majority of participants stated that the presenters mastered the material well and the material presented was useful as knowledge for students in choosing career path. Complaints submitted in the form of lack of webinar time and some minor problems related to the network. The suggestions about the topic of Undip’s national webinar in the future are workshops on making job applications and CVs, job interview strategy workshops, and soft skills training for students.

Chairman of Undip PSDKU Management Institute, Dr. Redyanto Noor, M.Hum., conveyed his appreciation to this kind of activity and hoped it can inspire the entire academic community at Undip PSDKU to hold a similar event.
