Semarang-Central Java (16/12). The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) of Diponegoro University (Undip) has established itself as one of the internationally recognized faculties. This predicate achieved after all study programs of the Faculty of Economics and Business Undip successfully passed FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation), an international accreditation based in Germany on November 27th 2021.

“This achievement strengthened Undip’s steps towards World Class University (WCU),” said Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M. Hum.

For this achievement, he gave his appreciation and invited the entire academic community to continue to innovate for the progress of Undip. He also added that all officials at Undip should continue to work hard in developing Undip as an excellent research university and be recognized internationally.

Meanwhile, the Dean of Faculty of Economics and Business Undip, Prof. Dr. Suharnomo, S.E., M.Sc., said that the eight study programs of FEB Undip which were submitted for the international accreditation process were all passed.

Alhamdulillah, our dream has been achieved. All study programs of Faculty of Economics and Business Undip are internationally accredited by FIBAA,” said Prof. Suharnomo during the inauguration of the reservoir and parking area at FEB Undip, on Wednesday (15/12).

The study programs of Faculty of Economics and Business Undip that passed FIBAA accreditation including Management Undergraduate Study Program, Accounting Undergraduate Study Program, Economics Undergraduate Study Program, Islamic Economics Undergraduate Study Program, Management Postgraduate Study Program, Accounting Postgraduate Study Program, Economics Postgraduate Study Program, and Economics Doctoral Study Program.

“So fifteen study programs of Undip have been internationally accredited by FIBAA, and eight of them are from Faculty of Economics and Business Undip. Alhamdulillah, our faculty is 100% internationally accredited and supporting the achievement of Undip’s Key Performance Indicators,” explained Prof. Suharnomo.

He further explained that the accreditation process that Faculty of Economics and Business Undip had gone through was the result of the hard work and support of all parties within Undip. “The support from the Rector and his staff is extraordinary, as well as the supports from all of Deans of Faculty and School. Thank you for the prayers and support,” he conveyed.

The Head of Undip Secretariat and Protocol, Dr. Agus Suherman, S.Pi., M.Si added that previously there were eleven internationally accredited study programs. The following study programs that passed international accreditation are Law Undergraduate Study Program and Law Postgraduate Study Program of Faculty of Law. There are also Business Administration Undergraduate Study Program and Communication Science Undergraduate Study Program from Faculty of Social and Political Sciences.

As for the Faculty of Humanities, there are 2 study programs that qualify for international accreditation, namely Indonesian Literature Undergraduate Study Program and History Undergraduate Study Program. From the Faculty of Psychology, there is Psychology Undergraduate Study Program. The remaining 8 study programs are from Faculty of Economics and Business Undip.

“Undip is optimistic that the target of 40 internationally accredited study programs can be achieved. Currently, Undip has 169 study programs from 11 faculties and 2 schools, namely the Postgraduate School and Vocational School,” said Agus Suherman.
