Semarang – Diponegoro University opens opportunities for talented and outstanding students to register through the Selection for Excellent Students with Achievement (SBUB). Undip student registration through the SBUB path is open until March 20, 2022. “We understand that in these 2 years, the championship event is very limited. Well, we inform students that Undip has opened a registration path for talented students. Immediately register, registration through the SBUB path is open until March 20, 2022,” explained Dr. Paramita Prananingtyas, S.H., L.L.M. who currently serves as Secretary of the Undip Education Quality Assurance and Development Institute (LP2MP) in an interview on Wednesday (9/3/2022).

Furthermore, Dr. Paramita explained that SBUB is the selection path for the Undip Bachelor (S1) and Vocational (including PSDKU) programs based on talent or skill achievements during SMA/MA/SMK/MAK on a national and international scale and for the province scale with a minimum of champion 1.

SBUB is a golden opportunity for prospective students who have achievements of being the 1st to 3rd winners at the national and international levels, and 1st place at the provincial level. Prospective students have a great opportunity to become prospective Undip students by taking tests according to their talents and skills while still in SMA/MA/SMK/MAK.

The requirements for registering for the SBUB include: graduates of the last 3 years from SMA/MA/SMK/MAK, namely graduating in 2020, 2021, 2022. The applicants should have a report card value per semester of 70 (scale 100), pass school exams, never fail a class, and choose study programs according to the requirements of their domicile SMA/MA/SMK/MAK.

Previously, Undip had opened registration for new student candidates for the 2022 SNMPTN path which was closed on February 28, 2022 at 03.00 PM. The number of applicants for SNMPTN has increased. Previously, there were 30,763 applicants who registered for Undip at the 2021 SNMPTN. In 2022, SNMPTN applicants rose to 34,923 including from the KIP (Smart Indonesia Card) program as many as 1,603. As for the interest of applicants for the Social Humanities major, the study programs with the most applicants are Psychology Undergraduate Study Program, Law Undergraduate Study Program, and Management Undergraduate Study Program. Meanwhile, for Science Technology major, most applicants register to Public Health Undergraduate Study Program, Medicine Undergraduate Study Program and Nursing Science Undergraduate Study Program.
