UNDIP 2022 National Webinar: Internship Strategy & Final Project for Fast Graduation and Student Performance Aligned with University’s KPI

Diponegoro University organized the UNDIP 2022 Webinar on “Internship Strategy & Final Project for Fast Graduation and Student Performance Aligned with University’s KPI” on Saturday and Sunday, May 21-22, 2022 online. In this event, a topic was raised which aimed to enable students to get to know the performances that can improve the ranking of study programs or institutions.

The event, which was held for 2 consecutive days, was attended by 224 participants, either through Zoom meetings or live on Youtube. Participants were not only from Diponegoro University, but many participants from other universities were also present to get a better understanding on the topics discussed by the speakers. On the first day, Saturday, May 21, 2022, there were three resource persons, namely Dian Anggraeni, S.A., M.Acc., with materials on “Internship Strategy (KKP)”; Deddy Sulestiyono, S.E., S.T., M.M. ACPA discussed “TA (Final Project) Strategy”; Ropinov Saputro, S.E., M.M whose materials entitled “Student Performance in line with the University’s KPI”. The speakers were lecturers from the homebase D3 Tax Administration of Undip PSDKU in Batang Regency.

On the first day, apart from resource persons providing material, participants were also given a quiz where questions came from material that had been delivered by the resource persons. This quiz session was held using Quizizz. The best 5 participants got a prize of IDR 100,000 each. This quiz session aimed to determine the extent to which participants understand the material that has been given by the presenters. After the quiz was carried out, the winners were chosen. The 1st and 2nd winners were Duta Wacana Christian University students, and the 3rd, 4th and 5th winners were students of Diponegoro University.

Furthermore, on the second day, May 22, 2022, there were three speakers from 3 students of the D3 Tax Administration Study Program of Undip PSDKU in Batang Regency. The first resource person, Xievie Chong, conveyed the experience of independent internships in accordance with the experience he had undergone in independent internships at BTN Tbk. The second resource person, Tsabita Via Sufika shared a story of student competitions according to her achievements as the 1st Winner of Outstanding Student at the Undip PSDKU level.

The third resource person, Tatak Rekhan Ariatma explained the Entrepreneurial Student Program (PMW) to motivate the participants to become entrepreneurs and propose their entrepreneurship to PMW which was held at every university. A few days after the PMW explanation, various faculties from various universities began to enlist the selection of entrepreneurial student programs (PMW). That way the participants have the opportunity to directly put the knowledge they have learned into practice.

Ropinov Saputro, S.E., M.M., as the Head of the Committee of this event, hoped that students would be motivated and immediately put into practice all the knowledge and insights provided by the resource persons. With the development of a culture of achievement, it would increase the chances of a study program in obtaining achievements according to the interests and talents of its students. These achievements would encourage the quality as well as the KPI report of the study program to the University and to the Ministry. On the other hand, the Head of the D3 Tax Administration Study Program of Undip PSDKU in Batang Regency, Mutiara Tresna Parasetya, S.E., M.Sc., Ak., advised that final semester students should immediately complete their Final Project.

The Head of the Committee expressed his gratitude to the members, consisted of students from the Batang Campus D3 Tax Administration, namely Mada Osamanti (Head of Organizer), Muhammad Adiyat Thoriq, Tsabita Via Sufika, Nurhikmah and Risqi Aprilia. The committee team said that they were very grateful to God Almighty because this national webinar event could run smoothly even though there were a few minor obstacles. The committee hoped that the next webinar would be even better with events that are beneficial for everyone/students.
