The number of MSMEs in Sampangan Village makes the economy in the region quite advanced. However, in this post-Covid economic recovery period, many MSMEs still need to adapt to the situation. Thus the recognition of the potential of MSMEs is still low. Assistance is needed to improve the economic welfare of Sampangan Village.

Gudeg Pituji is one of the MSMEs in the food sector located in Sampangan Village, precisely on Menoreh Raya Street Number 71 Sampangan. The origin of the name Gudeg Pituji is the number pitu siji which means seven one in Javanese, it is the number of the house used to run the business. Mr. Ramelan and his wife, as the owners of the Gudeg Pituji MSMEs, started their business because of the many requests for gudeg to be cooked for events or celebrations. The dish, which is served in one serving of Gudeg Pituji, contains rice, young jackfruit vegetables as gudeg, and is served with thick coconut milk (areh), free-range chicken, egg, tempeh, tofu and krecek fried sauce.

In addition, in an effort to improve the post-covid MSMEs economy, activities carried out by Undip Community Service students were under the guidance of Mr. Ari Wibawa Budi Santosa., ST., MT. Among included providing Education on Material Selection from Livestock Products, Post-Production Education, Financial Management Assistance through the BukuKas Application, and Spatial Management to provide customer comfort. Therefore the outputs produced are in the form of a Booklet/Module of MSMEs Financial Management, Gudeg Pituji’s Cashbook Application Account, Livestock Product Selection Booklet, and Product Photos of gudeg.
