Rector of Diponegoro University (Undip), Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum., officially inaugurated officials within Undip during the Official Inauguration Ceremony on Monday, September 5, 2022 on 10.00 WIB at the SA-MWA Building Hall, Undip Tembalang Campus. The inauguration ceremony was attended by the Undip Rector, Chair of the Academic Senate, Deputy Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, Vice Rectors, Deans of Faculties/Schools, invited guests, and Undip officials who will be inaugurated.
In the inauguration ceremony, the Decree (SK) of the Rector of Diponegoro University Number: 47/UN7.A/KP/VIII/2022 to Number: 204/UN7.A/KP/IX/2022 concerning the Appointment of the Head of Department, Chair and Secretary of Study Programs, Chair and Secretary of the Center for Community Service at Diponegoro University.
A total of 18 Undip officials who are appointed will occupy several positions in Undip. The oath taking was led by the Undip Rector accompanied by clergy in accordance with their respective beliefs. The signing of the Report of Official Oath was done by the Undip Rector and Prof. Dr. rer. nat. Heru Susanto, S.T., M.M., M.T. and Drs. Mulyo Padmono as witnesses.
In his welcoming speech, Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M. Hum. congratulated Undip officials who had been sworn in and taken the oath. “Congratulations and may it be a blessing to your family and to Undip.” said Prof. Yos.
Prof. Yos advised every official in the Undip environment to continue to maintain integrity, so that the quality and dignity of Undip is maintained properly. “Remember, we carry Undip’s big name on our shoulders. If there is a despicable act, the impact is not only for yourself but will have an impact on the institution. Therefore, be careful at work. One disgraceful act you do will greatly affect the quality and dignity of Undip.” he explained.
“This is what I emphasize to all of you. Let’s together improve the quality of Undip, it requires the support of integrity from all of us. I remind you, our time is short, only five years, and even then it can be shortened if the evaluation results are not satisfactory. We will conduct an evaluation, because from the evaluation we can choose someone who deserves to be the leader of Undip.” added Prof. Yos.
Furthermore, Prof. Yos hoped that the inaugurated officials will remain enthusiastic in improving Undip’s services and quality. “Ladies and gentlemen, hopefully you will embrace the spirit to improve the quality of Undip in the future with excellent performance.” he concluded.
