The Rector of UNDIP Deployed 6,158 KKN Team II Students

“Pancasila is not just a slogan but real action. Carry out Community Service (KKN) activities following Pancasila values and the values of kindness to create happiness for others; we are also happy if other people are happy. Take care of your health, keep your morals, and show Diponegoro University students have a good attitude,” said the Rector of Undip, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum. during the Departure Ceremony of the Community Service Team II Undip term of 2022/2023, Tuesday (4/7) at the Undip Tembalang Stadium.

Furthermore, Prof. Yos said that Undip is a tertiary institution in the international ranking, so students must show the quality of the knowledge they get and apply it. KKN students must comply with Undip regulations, take care of each other, do not let any actions that are not commendable.

“Hopefully, the KKN students can inspire the community in the KKN area to get to know Undip more closely. The students can inspire the children there to enter Undip through the best way, namely education,” he said.

Meanwhile, in his report, the Head of the Service Center for Community Service (P2KKN) Kurniawan Teguh Martono, S.T., M.T. said that the number of students registered for KKN Team II for the 2022/2023 academic year was 6,158 students.

“Implementation of KKN in 54 sub-districts in 11 regencies in Central Java Province, with locations in the districts of Brebes, Tegal, Pemalang, Pekalongan, Batang, Pati, Boyolali, Klaten, Sukoharjo, Sragen, and Wonogiri,” he explained.

This KKN activity collaborates with other agencies, including the BKKBN (National Population and Family Planning Agency). The program that will be implemented is stunting prevention in 10 districts with an allocation for each community of 3 villages in one sub-district. The locations used were the districts of Brebes, Tegal, Pemalang, Pekalongan, Batang, Pati, Boyolali, Klaten, Sragen, Wonogiri; BPIP, the program to be implemented is a Pancasila reading corner in 2 districts, namely Pemalang and Wonogiri districts; PUPR (Public Works and Public Housing), the program to be implemented is the Regional Socio-Economic Infrastructure Development Program implemented in the Sragen Regency; Central Java Satpol PP together with the Directorate General of Customs and Excise for Central Java and DIY with a socialization program against illegal cigarettes.

“Another activity or work program that students will carry out is in the form of a multidisciplinary and scientific program in the form of making a village master plan which includes village potential, village development plans, or village social mapping, forming tourism awareness groups, health issues and SDGs, as well as utilizing appropriate technology to be implemented in society,” he concluded.
