Toronto International Society of Innovation and Advanced Skills (TISIAS) hold the International Invention Innovation Competition on August 29th, 2021 virtually via zoom. Medical Faculty of Diponegoro University sent a team of delegates consisting of 5 medical students (Muhammad Mufaiduddin, Aulia Salwa Alfaina, Adelia Pangesti, Luh Ayu Nanamy K E S, Nur Indah Meyrianawati, and Haidar Yusuf Affandy) and 2 supervisors (Dr. Rifky Ismail, S.T., M.T, and dr. Hari Peni Julianti, Sp.KFR, M.Kes). The innovation work submitted by the undip team was entitled “The Effect of Exoskeleton Robotic Hand on the Muscle Strength in Stroke Patients”.

This competition was divided into two stages, namely submission and selection of the innovation and presentation stage. At the selection stage, each team was expected to present their findings well and convincingly judge through a brief description in the italic registration form. The next stage was the presentation stage, which was the stage if you had passed the file selection, participants would present their innovations virtually via zoom. After going through all the stages with great struggle, Alhamdulillah, Undip got a GOLD MEDAL and a Canadian Special Award. Moreover, this achievement was because of our beloved teachers were kind and patient to guide us to learn all of the materials for the competition. Hopefully, next year Undip delegation, especially for I-CAN will make bigger achievement and make Undip proud.
