UNDIP Provides Healthy Food for Iftar for Students

Running the fast of Ramadan is obligatory for every Muslim. In the month of Ramadan, every person competes to increase their acts of worship and do good. Among the many charities that are done, one of them is by sharing. Diponegoro University also does this by distributing healthy food for students to break their fast. The healthy food distribution program for students is a program that is routinely carried out on the Diponegoro University campus. Previously, the distribution of healthy food was distributed during the day. Especially during the month of Ramadan, the distribution of healthy food is carried out in the afternoon for students to break their fast.

The schedule for distributing healthy food to students starts on Wednesday (29/3/2023) to Thursday (13/4/2023). To get healthy food, students first register through SSO (Single Sign On) which opens at 14.00 WIB. Furthermore, the distribution of food is carried out from 15.00 to. 17.00 WIB.

Enthusiasm of students to get healthy food to break the fast is so great. This can be seen on the first day of distribution of healthy food on Wednesday (29/3). Food distribution locations were concentrated at several points, namely in the parking area of the SA MWA building as many as 400 (four hundred) packs of nutritious food and drinks; 400 (four hundred) packs are provided at the parking locations in the Student Center building; 400 (four hundred) packs are provided at the FPIK building (Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences); while on the Undip Pleburan campus prepared 250 (two hundred and fifty) packs. The distribution of healthy food was not only carried out on the Undip campus in Tembalang and Pleburan, but also on the Undip campus in Jepara. The Undip campus in Jepara provides 116 (one hundred and sixteen) packs of nutritious food and drinks for students studying at the Undip campus in Jepara.

Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, Prof. Faisal explained that the healthy food distribution program for students is a form of Diponegoro University’s concern that prioritizes compassion and noble values in carrying out learning. “The food distributed to students is healthy and nutritious food,” he added. “By consuming healthy and nutritious food, it is hoped that students will become healthy and enthusiastic for Undip to achieve even better results,” he concluded.
