Rector Sent Off the 2023 UNDIP Hajj Candidates: Take Care of Health and Focus on Worship

A total of 28 (twenty eight) hajj candidates from Diponegoro University (Undip) will depart to the holy land Makkah in 2023. Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum. officially sent off the hajj candidates on Monday (22/5) at the Abdurrahman Mosque Undip.

In his report, Vice Rector II Undip Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Heru Susanto, S.T., M.M., M.T. conveyed that as much as 28 hajj candidates from Undip consisting of 22 lecturers and 6 education staff will depart to perform the pilgrimage. “We pray that the hajj candidates from Undip are be able to carry out the pilgrimage smoothly,” he said.

In his remarks, Undip Rector Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama, S.H., M.Hum reminded the hajj candidates to maintain their health and focus on worship.

“A form of our gratitude is to always do the best we can. We hope that when performing the pilgrimage you will receive safety and convenience, while worshiping you will find comfort and tranquility, and become a mabrur hajj,” he hoped. (LW – Public Relations)
