Wow, Undip Graduate, Rahel, Achieved a GPA of 4: Be an Agent of Change

“Be an agent of change with the knowledge, skills and experience that we have gained in college. As a student, academics alone are not enough; being active in campus activities can train your soft skills and even gain broad relationships with other people,” said Rahel Nathania Prasasti, a graduate who was inaugurated at Undip’s 173 Graduation Ceremony. She graduated summa cum laude honors, earning a GPA of 4.00 with a study period of 3 years and 1 month in the Bachelor of Food Technology study program, Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences, Diponegoro University (Undip).

Therefore, the younger generation must be able to make changes that have a positive impact on the environment and the country, be responsible in development efforts, and be sensitive to updates as time and technology develop. “Continue to work, pursue your dreams, and have a good impact on the Indonesian nation,” she exclaimed.

Rahel once won as the 2nd best participant when taking part in LKMM-D FIB in 2021. This award was very impressive for her because the training she participated in lasted for 5 months with quite a complex entry selection. She was proud to be able to make the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences proud in the training held by the Faculty of Humanities.

According to Rahel, of course, it is essential to be able to balance academic and organizational activities. She participated in various organizations, such as BEM Undip in 2023 as an Inspector, PMKP Undip in 2023 as an Event Member, HMD Agriculture as a Member of the K&PSDM Sector in 2021, as well as Chair of KesMa Sector in 2022. Apart from that, she also participates in many committees, from being Chair of the LKMMP-D FPP 2021 to Member of the ODM Undip 2022, ODM FPP 2021 Field Coordinator, and others. She also actively participates as an MC, moderator, and speaker at campus events and has been a Food Technology laboratory assistant for 3 semesters.

She even used her time during study breaks to do an internship at the West Ungaran Agricultural Extension Center and PT. Sinar Sosro Ungaran in order to stay productive as well as hone hard skills and soft skills to prepare for the world of work.
