Before the exam begins, participants are asked to show the condition of the room taken place for exam. This is done to ensure that participants do the exam themselves. The supervisors also check the data of participants to ensure the suitability of the participants’ names and faces.

  4. Performing suspicious movements such as mouth movements, eye movements and other body movements
  5. Too much moving around during exams
  6. Not willing to turn on camera

Even though supervision is carried out by online, the supervisors really pay attention to the examinees during the exam. During the supervision, supervisors can also interact if there are examinees have difficulty. For some violations committed by examinees such as not willing to show identity cards, making suspicious movements, the supervisors have the right to reprimand. A warning will be given up to 3 times for participants and they have to show their identity cards to continue the exam. Likewise, if a participant is seen making suspicious movements, the supervisor has the right to give a warning up to 3 times for the participant to continue the exam. As for participants who take a walk during the exam and are not willing to turn on the camera during the exam, the supervisor can remove the participant from Zoom application because the participant has been reminded and read the exam rules before the exam starts. It is mandatory for the participants to turn on the camera during the exam and prohibited from leaving Zoom application during the exam. Moreover, if it is found that jockeying and other cheating acts are done, the participant can be removed from Zoom application and fromthe list of examinees.

The online exam is the first online Independent Exam held in 2021. In its implementation, this year’s online exam uses the CAT (Computer Assisted Test) application designed by Diponegoro University IT team under the direction of Vice Rector III for Communication and Business Undip Dwi Cahyo Utomo, SE., MA., Ph.D. By using this CAT application, participants can work on questions from their respective domiciles.
