UPT K3L UNDIP Held Posbindu and Blood Donation

Occupational Safety and Environment Unit (UPT K3L) of Diponegoro University together with Red Cross (PMI) of Semarang City held a blood donation activity and Integrated Non-Communicable Disease Guidance Post (Posbindu PTM), Thursday (16/3).

Posbindu is a program from the Health Service whose activities are carried out in an integrated, routine and periodic manner. Posbindu PTM detects early on the health of employees throughout Undip. Posbindu PTM examination includes measuring height and weight, blood pressure, abdominal circumference, blood sugar test, uric acid test, and cholesterol test.

In this activity, Undip also cooperates with PMI as a partner. Undip’s participation in blood donation activities is part of Undip’s contribution to the Healthy Living Community Movement program (GERMAS). Besides supporting a healthy life, it is also a social activity to help others. Open blood donation activities for the Undip academic community are in accordance with the standards set by PMI. Before blood donation is carried out, medical personnel will check the health condition to ensure that a person meets the requirements to become a donor.
