Monitoring and Evaluation of Kedaireka Matching Fund Recipients at UNDIP

The Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology (Ditjen Diktiristek) Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology conducted Monitoring and Evaluation of the Kedaireka Matching Fund Program for Fiscal Year 2022 for 10 (ten) recipients of the Kedaireka Matching Fund from Diponegoro University. At the opening event which was attended by more than 107 invitees including the Dean of Faculties and Schools, Heads of Bureau, Innovation Managers, Cooperation Managers, Heads of Goods and Services Procurement Offices, Proposal Teams for recipients of Kedaireka Matching Funds, Business and Industry Partners (DUDI) and students who involved in the Kedaireka Matching Fund activities. This event was opened by Acting Secretary of the Directorate General of Higher Education, Prof. Tjitjik Sri Tjahjandarie, on Monday, November 7 ,2022 via Zoom meeting platform for 3 universities, namely Diponegoro University, Andalas University and Sebelas Maret University.

The Rector of Diponegoro University, represented by the Vice Rector for Research, Innovation and Cooperation at Diponegoro University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ambariyanto, M.Sc. in his remarks thanked the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology for organizing the Kedaireka Matching Fund Program since 2021 and continuing in 2022. He said that the Kedaireka Matching Fund Program was very beneficial from at least 3 main aspects. First, bridging research results from researchers so that they can be utilized by industry. Second, bridging the need for products from the Business World Industry (DUDI) actors that Undip researchers need to examine. Third, accelerating the process of downstreaming research results from tertiary institutions, especially Undip, so that they can be used directly by the community and the industrial world. Therefore Diponegoro University strongly supports this program and hopes that more of Diponegoro University researchers will receive funding from the Kedaireka Matching Fund Program in the coming years.

drh. Dian Wahyu Hardjanti, Ph.D. as the Director of Innovation and Industrial Cooperation said that, this year there were 58 (fifty eight) applicants. Stage I consisted of 28 proposers, stage II consisted of 19 proposers, 11 proposers from Diponegoro University who submitted Kedaireka Matching Fund proposals and 19 proposals had passed and received Funding for the Kedaireka Matching Fund Program in 2022.

A total of 10 Proposal Teams from 19 applicants who passed the funding had the opportunity to be monitored by 26 evaluators consisting of 14 substantive evaluators from other universities, 5 financial evaluators and 7 assistants from the Directorate General of Higher Education, Research and Technology (Ditjen Diktiristek). Monitoring and evaluation were carried out intensively starting from the implementation of activities (activity progress reports) which must be clear on the outcomes and achievements and benefits of the program for DUDI partners, the community and students participating in the Independent Learning  Independent Campus (MBKM). Monitoring and evaluation were also carried out in terms of the Financial Accountability Report as well as the absorption of the budget from the funds received.

Implementation of monitoring and evaluation is divided into 2 (two) mechanisms. The first mechanism intended for recipients of funds above 1 billion is carried out for 1 full day (09.00-16.30) with 3 (three) teams, namely Prof. Drs. Sapto P. Putro, M.Si., Ph.D., Gemala Anjani, S.P., M.Si., Ph.D., and Ali Khumaeni, S.Si., M.E. Each team carried out activities in the Board of Trustees (MWA) Meeting Room, the MWA Leaders Meeting Room, and the Innovation and Cooperation Bureau (BIKS) Meeting Room.

The second mechanism is intended for recipients of funds under 1 billion (500 million – 999 million) which is divided into 2 sessions for 2 (two) groups/teams. First session (09.00 – 12.30), second session (13.00-16.30). The Team Leaders who received these funds included Ahmad Ni’matullah Al-Baari, S.Pt., MP, Ph.D., Dr. Sc.Anindya Wirasatriya, S.T., M.Si., MSc., Dr. Ir. Munasik, M.Sc., Joga Dharma Setiawan, B.Sc., M.Sc., Ph.D., Dr. Ir. Diana Rachmawati, M.Si., Prof. Dr. Denny Nugroho Sugianto, S.T., M.Si., Dr. Eng. Munadi, S.T.,M.T. Monitoring and evaluation for these groups were carried out in the Academic Senate (SA) Meeting Room, SA Committee Meeting Room, Communication and Business Bureau (BKB) Meeting Room, Academic and Student Affairs Bureau (BAK) Meeting Room.

All monitoring and evaluation activities for the 2022 Kedaireka Matching Fund Program went well and smoothly. The 10 Minutes of 2022 Matching Fund Program Monitoring and Evaluation results were signed by 3 (three) parties, namely the Reviewer Team (3 people), Higher Educations Coordinator and Team Leaders.
