BPSDM UNDIP Handed Over 161 Competency Certificates of 2022 for Education Staff

The Human Resource Development Agency (BPSDM) Undip handed over competency certificates for Undip education staff from various training carried out throughout 2022. The competency certificates were handed over 161 participants at the Prof. Soedarto, S.H. Building on Wednesday (11/1). In his report, the Head of BPSDM, Prof. Ir. Mochamad Arief Budiharjo, S.T. M.eng.Sc, Env. Eng, Ph.D, IPM said, “10 out of 34 training or around 30% of the total training carried out by BPSDM Undip in 2022 is Competency Certified Training.” Among them are K3 Fire Fighting Training for Class D Fire Officers; First Aid Training and Certification at Work Accidents (P3K); Basic K3 Training and Certification; 2022 Undip Librarian Competency Certification Test; Security Guard Training at Gada Pratama Level; International Laboratory Technician Debriefing and Certification; Young Industry Hygiene Competency Training and Certification; Taxation BNSP Competency Test Training and Certification; Master of Ceremony Provision and Certification as well as Diponegoro University Risk Management Training and Certification in 2022.

“From several competency certification training held, not all participants passed 100%. There were 2 of the 10 training namely taxation training and K3 training where the graduation rate was not easy to achieve. The follow-up to competency certification activities is expected to be beneficial in increasing resources because they already have competency certificates, applying knowledge/competencies in their respective fields/work units and supporting Undip in the future. Competency refreshment within a certain period of time is carried out along with competency measurements which is balanced with services measurement. Competency training in 2023 is planned further to support competency certificates that are already owned.” he added.

Congratulations and gratitude for the participation of Undip education staff was conveyed by the Vice Rector for Resources, Prof. Dr.rer.nat. Heru Susanto, S.T., M.M., M.T. In his remarks, Prof. Heru emphasized that increasing competence, skills, knowledge, and the ability of education staff is an important thing that must be done. There is no significant progress without having good human resources. Both in-house training or training in several institutions outside Undip is a form of increasing Undip’s human resources for both lecturers and students according to the 2019 program.

He also conveyed that education staff should not be static in terms of knowledge or skills. Education staff must have new knowledge, new skills, and be able to implement/practice it in daily work so that the work performance will definitely get better. “Hopefully students will never get tired of developing themselves. When we choose to not be tired to develop ourselves, Insyaallah, Undip and ourselves will get better.” he said. (Diah – Public Relations)
