Tri Hambudi, A Creative and Accomplished UNDIP Graduate

Tri Hambudi Utomo, the 172nd graduate of Diponegoro University, achieved a GPA of 3.79 and brilliant achievements in various fields. Interestingly, Hambudi not only achieved academic success but also succeeded in making achievements in non-academic activities.

For example, Hambudi won 1st place in Best Technical Video Presentation and Gold Award in the Sustain the World activity at ICemE, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia. Not only that, he also succeeded in making achievements in the field of economics by winning a paper at the DEFEST event organized by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Diponegoro University.

In the video category, Hambudi succeeded in becoming the winner in the reels competition held by BPS and Djarum76 for the “Jalan-Jalan Heppiii” campaign in Purbalingga. He was also successful in winning funding for the Student Entrepreneurial Program (PKM) at Undip and the Student Creativity Program in the field of Constructive Futuristic Ideas (PKM GFK), making him the 1st Outstanding Student of the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences Undip 2022.

Apart from success in academics and extracurricular activities, Hambudi remains active in organizations, including the Student Executive Board (BEM) of the Faculty of Animal and Agricultural Sciences Undip. Outside campus, he is also the administrator of Beswan Djarum Regional Semarang. Hambudi acknowledged that Undip provides many opportunities for students to develop through various activities, such as organizations, internships, training, business, and others.

In his message to fellow students, Hambudi reminded them of the importance of determining priorities in their youth. Even though the challenges of studying are sometimes tiring, he believes that great sacrifice and dedication are needed to carve out a beautiful future. Organizations, according to him, are an essential forum for learning and honing soft skills so that when entering the world of work, students can provide the best performance because they have been formed and trained from an early age through experience in organizations.
