UNDIP Inaugurated 2,082 Graduates in the 170th Graduation Ceremony

Diponegoro University inaugurated 2,082 people at the 170th Diponegoro University (Undip) graduation ceremony. It was held in 8 stages, starting from May 22 to May 25, 2023 at the Prof. Soedarto, S.H. Building, Undip Tembalang Campus (22/5).

In his report, Prof. Faisal, S.E., M.Si., Ph.D., as Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs said that the graduation was attended by 2,082 graduates, including 32 people from Doctoral programs, 266 people from Master programs, 60 people from Specialist programs, 113 people from Professional programs, 1,534 people from Bachelor programs, 66 people from Applied Bachelor programs and 11 people from Diploma programs.

“As an effort to maintain synergy between Undip and its graduates, Undip expects collaboration from alumni to provide feedback through the Undip tracer study at https://tracerstudy.undip.ac.id

“Hopefully all graduates will always be successful in pursuing their careers and always be good role models for society. We are really proud of the academic achievements achieved by the graduates,” said Prof. Faizal.

In his remarks, Undip Rector, Prof. Dr. Yos Johan Utama S.H., M.Hum. said that Undip won 1st National Rank for the university whose alumni got the job the fastest based on the 2021-2022 QS Ranking for Employability; 2nd National Rank and 30th in the world for Sustainable University based on UI Greenmetric in 2020, 2021, 2022; 2nd Best National PTNBH in 2021 and Top 5 Best PTNBH 2022; Top 8 National Rank for World University Rank 2023 QS WUR version; Top 5 favorite universities 5 years in a row; owing more than 20 study programs with international accreditation includes ABEST, FIBAA, ASIIN; and having 22 study programs ranked 1 to 3 nationally.

“Be proud to have successfully graduated from Undip, one of the best universities in Indonesia with achievements,” said Prof. Yos.

He further said that holding an academic degree gives the consequence of being able to develop this knowledge to the highest degree and be able to practice it as well as possible.

“Knowledge becomes something that is blessed if it is practiced in goodness, therefore we are obliged to apply the knowledge we have for the benefit of the nation in order to develop welfare of the nation and the state and mankind,” concluded the Rector. (LW – Public Relations)
